God of Love,
You are with us in every transition and change.
As we enter into this new year with excitement and even some anxiety, we recall your deep compassion, presence, and abounding love.
We thank you for the gifts, talents and skills with which you have blessed us.
We thank you for the experiences that have brought us to this moment.
We thank you for the work of others that gives breadth and depth to our own work.
Be with us as we move forward, rejoicing with you and supporting one another.

COVID-19 Plan – Rapid Antigen Home Tests (RAHT)
Thank you to all our students, staff and parents for collecting the RAHT kits. Thank you also for testing on Mondays and Thursdays before arriving at the College.
Their have been a small number of positive cases in each Year level and also on staff. In every case students and staff who test positive are isolating for 7 days and following all the NSW Public Health orders. These have been registered with Service NSW and the school has been notified.
Attached again are the College COVID-19 Bulletins for easy reference.

Business Manager
It is with deep appreciation for Mr Nick Carson that I advise you of his decision to retire as Business Manager at the end of Term 1 2022. Mr Carson has made a huge contribution to the leadership of the College and his stewardship of the College’s finances and resources has been outstanding. Mr Carson has decided that this is the right time for him to move into retirement and he will be greatly missed by the College, his colleagues and the Leadership Team. He is leaving the financial position of the College in very good order.
Mr Carson's leadership has been characterised by his high level of professionalism and expertise, extraordinary capacity for work, personal faith, calmness under pressure, care and concern for all – staff, parents and students, respectful relationships, astute judgement and unwavering loyalty. He will indeed be sorely missed by all.
Mr Carson began at the College as Business Manager in 2016 following a very successful career in business and finance. His love for the school commenced when he was a student in the 1970s and early 1980s. He will always remain a member of the College alumni.
Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) will commenced to recruit to the position of Business Manager for St Pius X College on Saturday 29 January. For further information on the position please use the link here for full details.
I congratulate Mr Nick Carson on his contribution and service to the College and look forward to an opportunity to recognise his leadership.
Mr John Couani - Principal
