A busy start to 2022

Your school library is on instragram at @ksclibrary and TikTok @ksclibrary.  It's been a busy start to the year for everyone, especially the Year 7s as they find their way around their new larger school environs; at least they've worked out where the library is!  I've been lucky enough to capture a few classic moments in the library already and some photos of the new students. It's wonderful to see the students embrace reading and engage in school life! You will find there is always a bit of fun on the library's insta page. You will also find  movie reviews and students being awesome; trust me it is worth a look.

As Library Lovers’ Day fast approaches it’s time to share the love and reflect on the important role that libraries have played in our lives.

This year’s theme of ‘Show the love’, encourages us to remember the sense of wonder and joy that a trip to the library, and discovery of a good book, evokes. It is a day to celebrate the valuable role that libraries play in our lives and an opportunity to engage with our libraries. Your library has a substantial romance section which is worth checking, love is love!

Books overdue from 2021

Sadly I still have 78 overdue books from last year, this is disspointing as some of them a part of a set. Emails are sent daily as a reminder to return books when they are late. At the end of Term 1 I will deem all these books lost and bills will follow; if you have any school library books at home please return them ASAP!
