Principal's Report

2021 School Year End

Another year of learning concludes

Congratulations to all students, families and staff for all your achievement, persistence, resilience and commitment to the growth and wellbeing of our children / students!

We have endured another challenging year, but risen to the occasion again.

I am extremely proud of our community, students, staff, facilities and resolve.

I hope you all enjoy a wonderful Christmas and festive season, full of fun, family and friends - you all richly deserve it...

I can't wait to see you all refreshed and ready to go in 2022, from Monday 31st January.

Presentation Night

I'm looking forward to a huge night, tonight.  Our annual presentation evening kicks off at 5:30pm on our Medwell Oval with a family picnic, Christmas music and programs being distributed.

From approximately 6:00pm, we will begin formalities inside Kim barne Nitji - families won't have access to our gymnasium until 6:00pm when announcements will be made.

I look forward to seeing all K-6 students enjoy and participate in carols, as well as acknowledging award winners, scholarship recipients and next year's leaders.

See you there!

2021 Year 6 Graduates

On behalf of our school community, I'd like to wish our 2021 graduating class of students all the best in their new secondary settings.

I look forward to hearing of their successes, achievements, adventures and tales as we continue to track them through their secondary years.

We are all very proud of you and are confident your grounding throughout your years in MRK-6 will hold you in good order for the rigors of school and life ahead.

Departing families

I'd like to extend a special mention to all our departing families also.  Thank you for your partnership, contributions and input to MRK-6.

We wish you all the best in your varying transitions to new settings.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
