Lan Se triumphs again!

Following up their victory at the 2022 swimming Carnival,  Lan Se House was the convincing winner at the Term 2 Athletics Carnival!

Student participation levels were very high at the event it is always great to see students meet a challenge!  The atmosphere was exciting, with enthusiastic support from members of all Houses.  Competition was earnest, while fun was had away from the track when individual prizes were awarded to students for their fabulous costumes proclaiming their House Pride. 

While the Abyad Polar Bears won the best dressed stakes overall, it was the Lan Se Sharks who dominated everyone on the track.  Many school track and field records were broken by students - please access the document attachment to see the full records of this.

Congratulations to all students;  friendly competition was the feature of the day, everybody brought along plenty of Brunswick Spirit, and the result was a fabulously inclusive and entertaining community event!

It's a great day. We missed out on this opportunity last year, so I am so glad that we got the chance to [have athletics Carnival] this year!  The best thing is that I broke the school record for shotput! Woohoo!
