SACRED HEART PARISH RCIY PROGRAM 2022

If you are between the ages of 12 and 18, are yet to receive the Sacrament of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Eucharist and/or Confirmation, and would like to, the parish is currently looking at commencing a program within the next two weeks.

Boonwurrung Ngargee Youth Dance Group

Attached is a flyer for a new youth dance group for Indigenous children at Victorian College of the Arts. This is directed by Aunty Carolyn Briggs and Katy McKeown and is open to all Indigenous children 10 years and older. It is a free group that introduces pre-tertiary dancers to the tertiary dance sector as a pathway to dance at the University and the new Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. The dance group creates contemporary works around Boonwurrung stories and Indigenous identity with visiting First Nations artists.

VCA Bachelor of Fine Arts Open days and Workshops for Year 7 and above

In 2022, to promote opportunities to future dance students, VCA Dance will run some open days and a performance + workshop excursion for interested students.  

VCA Dance accepts students that come from a wealth of dance backgrounds, some with formal training and others that have a strong cultural dance background and talent.

ALL ABILITIES LAWN BOWLS 2022 

Mildura Workers Bowls Club, in cooperation with Mallee Sports Assembly, are running an All Abilities Bowls program aimed at disabled children and adults. The program runs from February 1 to March 29 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. There is no cost, and all equipment is supplied.
