Debating & Public Speaking Club kicks off for 2022!

The AHS Debating & Public Speaking Club has begun for 2022!  We have had our information session this week, and there are plenty of new faces keen on joining the club.  Through our supportive culture of healthy competition, members of this club not only gain skills in public speaking and debating, but also in collaboration, critical thinking and confidence.

Throughout the course of the year, we participate in public speaking and debating competitions with schools in our area via organisations such as Debaters Association of Victoria, Legacy and Rotary.  There are also opportunities for internal events.  We meet on a fortnightly basis on Tuesday lunchtimes in F17 (on the odd-numbered weeks).
