Second Hand Uniform Shop - Wednesday 15 February

We will be be holding our first Second Hand Uniform Shop for 2023 on Wednesday 15 February 2023 from 8.45 - 9.30am.

The shop will be located in the school hall, with entry via the north-east door. If arriving early, please line up against the large hall windows so students have space to pass.

Items are priced from 50c to $10 per piece (cash and EFTPOS available). A stock list and pricelist can be found on the P&F website a day or two prior to opening: 

If you are unable to attend, feel free to send a friend along on your behalf. You can also send your child to the hall with a list and money in an envelope, and we will do our best to fill your order. Unfortunately, items cannot be held, left at the office or taken to classrooms.

Any donations of clean uniform pieces would be greatly appreciated. They can be left at the school office.

First General Meeting 22 February 2023 - 7pm Year 6 classroom

Every SJB parent is welcome to attend the First General Meeting of 2023. 

The aim of this meeting is to get through the agenda but more importantly, to find out about the role of the P&F, hear what’s going on at the school and get to know some new faces. We promise you don’t even have to volunteer for anything! We just love hearing the voices and experiences of all parents across all grades. The meetings typically aim to go for approximately 60 minutes.

The P&F will provide light refreshments at the meeting and the acting Principal Mr Moore will provide an update on what is ocurring at the school throughout Term 1

All agenda items are open to everyone for our First General Meeting. Please be aware that any matters you wish to raise need to be emailed to sjbpandf@gmail.com 2 weeks prior to the meeting so they may be placed on the agenda. In order to manage the length of meeting times.  Items can not be raised on the night if they haven’t been included in the agenda.

SJB Fete 2023 - 16 September 2023

Thank you to the school community for getting behind the school fete to date. 

Please find an update below:

Positions: Lead committee roles are now filled. Thank you to those who have volunteered their time. With these now complete, they will be seeking support from the parent community in the lead up to the fete and on the day as required. Please let us know if you are keen to support the team as a general volunteer by emailing us at sjbfete2023@gmail.com

Our fete is the result of the passion and pride of our dedicated parents and community and ensures the success of the fete on the day. Sponsorship from local businesses and individuals contribute to this success. Your donation will assist us to put on a fun community event and plays a significant role in our P&F fundraising program.

This is an excellent way to invest in marketing your business internally and to the wider community. We will regularly be advertising the fete in the local community and on social media which will reach a wide audience.
