In the ART room...

Last week I introduced you to our 2023 student Art Leaders. This week, they have shared some information about themselves. Please take the time to read about these very committed individuals.

JESSE CASTELLUCCI

Hello, my name is Jesse Castellucci.  I’m turning 12 this year.  My class is 6 Yellow.  I have a sister in Grade 5 named Zoe, my parents and a 3 year old schnoodle named Coco. I’m a big fan of prehistoric animals like dinosaurs.  I love to draw and will always draw when I have the opportunity.  My favourite food is Calamari and my favourite drink is Peach Ice Tea.  I don’t really have a favourite colour, I enjoy all colours but if I had to choose one colour, Lime will stand out the most for me. The one thing I’m looking forward to most is our Grade 6 Camp as we get to go away with our school friends and do activities together.

Hello, my name is Grace and this year I am in 6 Red, 

I am 11 years old and will be 12 on the 18th of June. 

I have a sister named Isabella, a mum and a dad, 

I love basketball and soccer, I have played basketball for just under a year and have played soccer for around 6 years.

I love sushi and I am not really a fan of extremely sweet things. My favourite colours are Purple and Blue. I love watching Stranger Things, I actually don't like music or singing…which is a bit unusual. I am really looking forward to my year as part of the school Art team, I am very excited to have the opportunity to contribute to all events and fun activities this year.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Lana. I am currently 11 years old but I am turning 12 this year. My favourite colour is light pink and my favourite food is pizza. 

This year I am in 6 Blue. I am really excited about Grade Six because now we are the leaders of the school. In my spare time I like to draw, paint, watch movies and read. This year I am looking forward to spending the year as an Art Leader and all things related to being in Grade 6!

My name is Allison 

I am 11 turning 12 this year. I am in 6 Green.

I have a dad, mum, little brother and little sister.

I love dogs a lot and I wish I had one!

My hobbies are Art, swimming and running.

My favourite food is chocolate, my favourite colour is pink, my favourite movie is Dog Gone. I like the artwork The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh.

I am looking forward to helping Mrs Dabb this year!!

This week we have been working on a whole school collaborative piece. Each student from Grade Prep to Grade 6 has created their own mini- MONOCHROMATIC self-portrait. 

I look forward to sharing our mural with you all, once completed.
