Fete News...Update

Only 4 Weeks to Fete Day People!! 

🎈🎊🎪🎁🍾🥂🍻

Here's what we need you ALL TO FOCUS on please:

 

Sign up to the NPS Fete on Saturday 18 March 

 

We need your help! 

The Fete Committee desperately NEEDS more parents/carers to help out on stalls on the big day.

We have over 500 spots to fill and we're not even close to filling half the stalls & the fete is only 4 weeks away!!

We're asking families to sign up to one or two fete stalls with each shift only 1 hour.  

All you have to do is turn up, help out and have fun!

 

As of today the numbers are REALLY LOW . . . 😞😟😢😧😭

  • Only 6/30 spots filled for Friday night set up (food/drinks supplied)
  • Only 120/491 spots filled for Saturday across all stalls & pack up 
  • Only 6/30 spots filled for Saturday night pack down (food/drinks supplied)

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get involved everyone?  

  • It's a great way to meet new parents
  • Recruit your mates, help our our stall leads!!
  • The fete simply will not work without your support

NPS Fete Community Boards are out there!!

Look out for our big Fete Community Boards popping up around the neighborhood this weekend!

Super exciting in particular for our fete poster competition winner Freddie Diep!  🤩

We want to see LOTS of photos pop up on our Facebook & Instagram social pages of all our NPS students in front of as many of the community board locations as you can find? 

See if you can find all six (6) ? 😜

 

Haunted House Lead Volunteer Needed                  👻🕷🎃💀

The Fete Committee needs your project management skills! 

Our Haunted House will be set up in the OSHC building this year.

What we need is 2-3 creative parents who can work together in planning the overall design of the Haunted House.

Amateur DJ Volunteer Needed 💽🎶🎧💃🕺😎

Looking for a local amateur DJ who'd like to donate their time to practice spinning their decks on & off during fete day? 

 

Donations STILL NEEDED for:

  • Blocks of Chocolate & Bite Size Mini Packets - for our 2 x Lob a Choc stalls (Please drop off at the office for a safe keeping in a non-melting area)
  • Extra Coat Hangers - for our 2nd hand clothes stalls
  • Halloween Decorations & Costumes- for our Haunted House theme inside OSH Club
  • Mystery Bottle - any wine / beer / spirits / oils / sauces / body wash / bubble bath etc. for this adult favorite stall

Do you want to Learn FACEPAINTING (for free) for your kid's next party?

 

  • Free beginner's lesson if you sign up for the face painting stall at the fete!
  • No previous experience, skills or supplies needed … just your enthusiasm.
  • Workshop / lesson on 11th or 12th March.

Are you CRAZY about HAIR?

  • Come & join the fun by volunteering on our CRAZY HAIR stall at our fete.  All tools of the trade provided.  No experience needed just a sense of fun🤩

Looking for help in any of the following wonderful ways:

  • Donate big packets of sugar, vinegar or pectin (jamsetta). Just grab a bit extra in your weekly shop. 
  • Donate clean jars or bottles with metal lids without labels. Any size is fantastic.
  • Donate fruit or vegetables: next time you're at the market or supermarket, grab some seasonal fruit or vegetables, ginger, chili etc.: whatever is cheap and plentiful, we will put to use. 
  • Any donations can be dropped at our house up to the weekend before the fete: 34 Helen Street, Northcote.
