P & F News

JOSIE SERVELLO

Families of St. Fidelis,

There are ONLY 4 WEEKS until our much-anticipated COMMUNITY DAY EVENT. The P&F is getting really excited about this day and there is A LOT of behind-the-scenes organisation and planning occurring. We want this day to be FUN, ENGAGING and SUCCESSFUL for the school, but for this to happen we NEED YOUR HELP!

Below (under the community day information) you will find a link to SIGN UP and assist us at one of the stalls/activities that will be run on the day. It is imperative that we have enough volunteers assisting us at this event. The day can’t and won’t possibly run if it is left to the P&F committee and St. Fidelis' Staff. We ask that you spare as much time as you can assisting us, ask family and friends who are attending too, if they have some spare time. The stalls/activities are easy to run and will be organised prior, you are just required to man them, make them enjoyable and collect money.

SO PLEASE - if EVERY SINGLE FAMILY could pop their names into a time slot, we would be EXTREMELY GRATEFUL. And don’t forget to spread the word about the Community Day to all your family, friends, sporting clubs, dance clubs, kinders, etc… the more people we have attending on the day, the more successful the event will be!

Thank you, P&F Committee.

Easter Raffle & Hot Cross Bun Drive

Our annual Easter Raffle and Hot Cross Bun Drive will be running again this year. Details for both events will be released mid–March. As usual, we will be asking for your support with Easter hamper donations, thank you.

Uniform Stall

On Friday 17th March at 3 pm, the P&F committee led by Adriana B and Gabby S raised an incredible $623!

We are so pleased with the amount raised and thank all the committee members who assisted with setup and pack up AND all the families who attended to purchase the preloved uniforms. We will keep you posted about the next uniform stall.

* We would also like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the families who continue to donate their pre-loved school uniforms, it is much appreciated.

However, we would also like to make you aware of the condition that we require the school uniforms to be in, for re-sale:

- Please ensure that the uniforms you are donating are of a clean, school quality standard with no major stains, rips or fading.

- Please, NO SOCKS or JOCKS!

- If possible, please ensure they are washed and ready for sale.

We simply request that you forward any uniform that you would comfortably allow your own child to wear. In addition to this, if we end up with too many items that we need to dispose of, it adds to an unwanted landfill, which is an environmental concern and furthermore becomes a school COST to remove. We thank you for your understanding on this matter and we look forward to receiving many more of your preloved school uniforms.

THANK YOU for taking the time to stay updated with the P & F NEWS!

Our next meeting is Wednesday 1st March @7pm in the main staffroom. We ask that you attend to meet us, join us or assist us. And please, if you have any ideas to help with fundraising or event organisation, general queries relating to P&F NEWS, are able to provide goods/services for use in fundraising events or if you would like to join our team, please contact: JOSIE SERVELLO - 0421 076 580 josieservello@gmail.com
