Education in Faith

Education in Faith encompasses the following areas: Religious Education, Prayer, Liturgy and Sacraments.

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is the first day of the Christain season of Lent.  Lent is a time when we pray, give up things we enjoy in order to give to others, and do kind things for people.  As we prepare to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus during Easter let us do so with hope, now and for all future generations.

God of hope and compassion,

Teach us how to show your love to others,

Be with us as we try to put our compassion into action.

May we respond with love and hope,

We ask this in Jesus’ name

Amen

Ash Wednesday/beginning of year whole school Mass.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Dear Parents and Carers,

This year, the Year 3 children will be celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Thursday 23rd of March at 7.00 pm at St Fidelis Church. In preparation for this celebration, the children/parent/s will be given the opportunity to engage in an online Reconciliation family faith evening facilitated by Maria Forde. The parent/child workshop will be on Tuesday the 28th of February at 7.00 pm.

Thank you and God bless,
