International Women's Day

International Women's Day

Next week, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day at Montmorency Primary. The theme this year is Cracking the Code: Innovation for a Gender Equal Future.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Students will spend time in class thinking about the extraordinary contributions of women in our society. A whole range of activities will take place during the week across the school, designed to inspire and motivate our children to ask questions and challenge inequalities.

On Friday, 10th March, students are encouraged to wear purple (a symbol of the women’s movement) to school and we hope you can join us for some special presentations during our assembly (2:45pm).
