Grade 1 Students 

The Grade Ones have been busy working on their recount skills – retelling a sequence of events in order. We have been working on using sentence openers such as first, next, then, after that, lastly etc. Here are some samples from our recount about the Colour Run.

In Maths, we have been working on developing our number sense. Understanding that numbers make patterns and we can use these patterns to solve puzzles. Here we are putting 120 number chart puzzles back together – thinking about numbers that come before, after, ten more and ten less etc.
