DISTRICT SWIMMING:

On Monday the 20th of February the MPS District swim team headed to Watermarc where we competed against six other schools in the area. 25 students from MPS qualified to compete across several events including freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle relays, and medleys. What an incredible day we had, we are so proud of how you represented yourself and our school. The determination and willpower by all of you, was just so inspiring to watch. You should all be so incredibly proud of yourselves and all that you achieved.  A special thank you to Alice and Brian Izard for being our parent representative judges on the day, Michelle and Mr Wickham for helping along side pool deck.

An extra congratulations to Patrick, Vianne, Jemima, Gus, Tess, Oliver H, Scarlett and April who have qualified for Division Swimming. What a fantastic achievement by you all!

DIVISION SWIMMING:

What a fantastic effort from our 8 swimmers that represented MPS at Division Swimming on Wednesday. Congratulations to Jemima, Vianne, Tess, Oli, Scarlett, Gus, Patrick and April who swam their hearts out! From this group we have 5 students who have been selected to compete at Regionals. Our medley relay team (Gus, Scarlett, April and Tess) finished second, in what was a spectacular race. This team entered the "boys" relay race and was the only team that had mixed genders. We are incredibly proud of these 4 students - they showcased not only their swimming prowess, but mental strength and determination as well.

Congratulations!
