Primary Community News

Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

As you can see by these AMAZING photos the children have settled in very well. We have become familiar with morning routines and familiar with daily schedules.

We have began our learning with a BANG, starting with our Literacy and Numeracy programs. Children have been exposed to activities focused on developing writing and reading. Hands on maths activities has assisted in developing our counting skills.

We are so excited to have started school. Through social interactions children are learning the important skills of taking turns, and making friends.

We look forward to a very exciting year!

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

We have had a wonderfull start to the year.  We have enjoyed building our dream homes, which we are going to be writing about in the coming weeks.

We have also been learning about different emotions.

Can you guess our emotions?

Upper Primary (Years 4-6)

We have had a great start to the new school year. Everyone has settled in well and we have kicked off the year learning about roles and responsibilities. All the students have stepped up and volunteered to take on a variety of different responsibilities to help look after our learning environment. It has been very pleasing to see how seriously every student has taken their job ensuring that the classroom runs efficiently. There is a growing understanding that we all have a role to play in our classroom and that our contributions are valued. We have also welcomed Caleb, our new ES into our class. Caleb has settled in well and has quickly gotten to know the students. We are looking forward to a great year of

learning.
