VCE & VM

On Thursday 30th March the VCE VM students, accompanied by Ms Siobhan Dwyer and Mr Jay Brutovic attend the first day of the 2023 Melbourne Grand Prix.  As part of their Unit 1 Work Related Skills coursework, students have been investigating employability skills, personal presentation skills and the careers that their current studies at school and Tafe could lead them into. 

Once at the track, students were tasked with interviewing people working at the event, specifically in areas that might be relevant to their VET subjects about how they ended up working at the event. The ultimate goal was for them to be able to consider their future careers and how the skills they are developing in the VM Program can lead them to diverse, interesting and challenging roles in the future.

We had a great time exploring the different exhibits, learning about the different events taking place, watching the time trials and getting a lot of exercise as we walked around and explored the venue.
