In Term one Year 7 students made ANZAC Biscuits. They learnt how to read a recipe and measure ingredients accurately. They then evaluated their biscuits, commenting on the sensory properties and how well they worked in a team.

Imagine that it is 1791 and that you are preparing and cooking meals for your free settling husband, or a single male working as a convict guard. Your task is to plan one day’s meal plan using only the rations available.
