Year 9 Bug Eating Day

Year 9 students have been studying biomes, in particular finding alternative biomes and food sources. As part of this topic bugs were ordered from a health food store. On the menu were crickets, mealworms, beef jerky, ants and kale chips. A mixed review with some loving the experience while others not  so impressed. 

Society and Culture

Newly elevated Year 12 Society and Culture students have been given a research assignment where they have the freedom to select a topic of choice to investigate. Some of the suggested topics include:

• Performing Arts
• Mental Health
• Crime

Geography

Year 9 Geography students have designed a web page with information on their current topic of study. A fun and engaging way to learn about Mega cities.
