We celebrated Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Day throughout the classrooms and college.

Harmony Day

On Monday 21st March, our Student Representative Council (SRC) organised a casual clothes day where students were able dress with a splash of orange to raise money for flood relief in NSW and Qld.

We are pleased to advise that $750 was raised for the relief fund.

Our International Student Program

Here at Cheltenham SC we have welcomed hundreds of students into our International Program over the years.

While the pandemic has resulted in a smaller than usual number of students onshore, we were delighted this year to welcome back some of our students who had been studying remotely in 2020 and 2021.

Currently, we have 11 students from all over China, including Harbin in the far North East, Shanghai on the coast, Xian in the central region, and Nanning in the South. One of our students is from Taiwan, two are from Cambodia, and recently we have welcomed a student from India.

Learning Italian at Cheltenham Secondary College

Cheltenham Secondary College has a long-standing tradition of over 40 years of Italian teaching and learning! Through the exploration of language and culture, students develop a greater appreciation and understanding of not only the Italian culture but that of their own and others. The sharing of various traditions and intercultural topics are a constant feature in our Italian classes.

Special school events such as Italian Week, excursions and the Italian Study Tours are further opportunities to reflect and celebrate our rich culture!
