Grevillea House

Finally being back on site, we’re so excited to be face to face seeing the Grevillean community once again. We as Grevillea’s House Captains, Christina and Shane, and our fellow SRC representatives, are set on building team spirit and encouraging our peers in every way possible.

This term, we’ve had a look at which charity Grevillea will be supporting and fundraising for the year and have come to the decision of 300 Blankets. 300 Blankets is a not-for-profit organisation that helps people who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness in Victoria. We believe that it is a charity that can really affect change in our society and being able to assist and show kindness after the impacts of COVID-19 can change a person’s life and give them new opportunities.

In the House, we are working to create stronger relationships between our students and teachers, so that students feel supported and teachers feel as though they are really influencing their students. We plan to implement activities like games, clubs and sports where we can bond and really build on skills and interact with others that we may not usually.

We are very keen to begin this journey with our fellow Grevilleans!
