Callistemon House

Hi, I'm Jasleen! Mustafa and I are your Callistemon House Captains for 2022. I can’t tell you how excited I am and how privileged I feel. We are two enthusiastic people who strive to do the best and provide the best for the school. 

Term 1 has been quite a challenging term for all Year 12 students, as we have shifted into the highest position in the senior school, with due dates upon due dates. Despite that, we have continued to put in our best efforts to take on the challenges and push through. In addition to the Year 12s, it has certainly been a huge obstacle for each year level, especially considering the fact we have transitioned back into full time schooling after the gap period of online learning. 

Despite there being a delay in finalising leaders, even with the limited amount of time in Term 1, us leaders have already began to put down accomplishments for the year along with events we wish to plan. I hope that this term was a warm up for everyone to do their best till the end of this school year and put consistent effort from now on. 

I’m so excited for the surprises this year holds and can’t wait to make the most out of being a captain.

Hello my name is Mustafa and it's a great honour to be Callistemon's House Captain in 2022. During my time at Dandenong High School, I have seen many leaders in the past and how they demonstrated leadership. They have taught me a lot of things during their time and have given me a bit of experience about leadership. I took this opportunity to apply for a leadership role in Year 12 and I have been elected for this role. It is time for me to show my leadership skills and maybe learn some new skills in the future. 

My goal for House Captain is to be a supportive leader where all students feel comfortable to approach me with any issues they may have. I want to encourage all Callistemon students to take part in as many school events as possible and be proud to be in Callistemon.
