Banksia House

Hello guys! My name is Anaisis and it is with great honour that I am Banksia’s House Captain of 2022. Throughout my entire high school journey, from being a young year 7 to a grown year 12, I have realised how fast school years can fly by. I have witnessed many different leaders in the past and their ways of showing their leadership qualities, and I am proud to be selected as one of those leaders today. 

A little bit about me is that I view myself as someone who is committed to any event as I like to compete on many different occasions. I'd say I'm a pretty competitive person but also very bubbly to others and would love to have a chat with anyone whether it's about inside or outside of school. 

My goal for this year is to guide each and every one of the students into developing a stronger community, and continue to create a great sense of belonging to make Banksia a happy and energetic space. I have great ambitions to make this year’s Banksia one of the best Banksia has sought after. Thank you :)

Hi, my name is Akbar and I can proudly say that I am a Banksia House Captain. I have been at DHS throughout my high school years and it has been a roller coaster. For the past few years, I have seen many leaders who I have looked up to and respected. My goal is to be the perfect role model for all the students, someone they look up to and approach when they need support.

Term 1 has been challenging, however we in Banksia have a lot of ideas to keep building a positive community and are looking forward to making the most out of Term 2. One of our biggest goals is to come up with fundraisers and help those who are in need.

Overall, I am honoured to be Banksia’s House Captain and I will try my best to represent the House in a positive manner.
