Parent opportunities

We would like to offer all parents the opportunity to have direct input to the decision and policy making process at Shelford.

Focus group reviewing Shelford’s camps, trips, tours and exchanges

This group will review our current Year 3–10 camps and Year 11 university experience.

This group will:

  • consider whether other options/activities should be offered in conjunction or instead of these
  • review the trips/tours/exchanges we have offered in the past and recommend future opportunities.

The review will consider providers, costs, risk management, staffing, curriculum focus areas and student development issues.

Pauline Cutajar, Deputy Principal – Student Wellbeing and Development will chair this group and will meet approximately five times in 2022.

Please email pcutajar@shelford.vic.edu.au your interest.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) focus group

To support the development of a RAP for Shelford, we are seeking two parents to join a group to work on this process. This work will take two years to complete, and we envisage this group meeting once a term for 2022 and 2023.

Please email kbrennan@shelford.vic.edu.au your interest.

Involvement in these groups is completely voluntary and we understand that many parents have myriad commitments and time pressures. However, for those who have an interest and can make a commitment, please let us know. We look forward to your input.
