Cath Freney, Careers and Future Pathways Coordinator 

There are some great opportunities coming up for students at some of the Melbourne universities. These experiences offer a great way to learn more about particular study areas, the university environment and skills in particular areas. Information and links for registration are given below.

Monash MySci

MYSci is a three-day science program specifically designed for students who will be in Year 11 and 12 in 2022

This program schedule will include:

  • hands-on workshops
  • access to our brilliant teaching facilities
  • opportunity to meet some of our Research Scientists
  • exposure to potential career pathways
  • activities with the Young Scientists of Australia
  • social activities

Bond University Business School

The Bond Business School Year 12 Extension Program is a two-day workshop where students gain an insight into university life to assist the transition from high school to university. Their world class academics will facilitate the opportunity for students to experience an enrichment of the senior school syllabus through real world applications and the use of 21st century skills.

 

Upon successful completion of the two-day program, students will have the opportunity to receive one of six Year 12 Extension Program Scholarships valued at 50% and 25% of tuition fees or a $5000 bursary.

Photography Studies College Melbourne

Photography Studies College (Melbourne) is hosting a special free school holiday, photography event just for Year 11 and 12 students.This will be a special ‘hands-on’ event for students interested in studying a creative course or considering a creative career in photography. Students can experience what it's like to be a student at PSC before they start.

 

Students can experience the dedicated creative campus, take part in a live studio shoot, and meet teachers and current students. Lunch is also provided.
