Shelford Dance Company

The inaugural Shelford Dance Company has kicked off with great success, seeing a number of Year 7 and Year 8 students come together to dance at lunchtime once a week. We have been working on various aspects of dance technique including flexibility, strength, turns and jumps. The girls have also learned both Contemporary and Jazz choreography.

I would like to thank and acknowledge all of the students who have attended the sessions so far. It has been very pleasing to witness their talents and enthusiasm over the last few weeks and I look forward to continue working with them across the year to prepare for performances at future events. Those who have not yet attended and are interested in trying out are encouraged to join us this Thursday for a dance!
