Congratulations to Rob and Sam Glover (Brax’s grandparents), whose contribution to Larnook Public School has been recognised by the NSW Department of Education this term. Rob and Sam contribute their time and effort to support our school in numerous ways, including the P & C (Parents and Citizens) Association.
The positive and generous manner in which they participate in school activities would normally be celebrated at a ceremony in Lismore with an afternoon tea, but unfortunately the virus prevented this event going ahead. Certificates were issued by the Department to acknowledge this fine example of schools and communities working together to further the education of our children.
It was lovely to watch how Oli developed as a hockey player this term. His quiet determination (check out the photo with Donna!) and keen sportsmanship, along with his improving skills were a joy to watch.
Jed always has great information and ideas!
And speaking of quiet achievers, thanks Talan, for your positive approach to your work and play at school. Talan gets along with everyone and will always have a go, plus he has neat handwriting produced very carefully.
If you're ever having a bad day, just spend some time with Brax. There's always a smile, energy and just enough cheek to make you have a little laugh.
Ebony, thank you for all your thank yous and pleases. She never forgets and that's really important and appreciated by all staff.
Nice work Freja for participating more in dancing each morning.
