Stalls for a cause

This week in Year 12 Work Studies students as part of one of their last year 12 units – the Team Enterprise Project created a mini business where they sold goods at lunchtime on Wednesday. Their motivating and supportive teacher Mr Vinay Jatan guided them through this process.

There was a lovely array of culinary options available for both staff and students to purchase. Ranging from tropical and colourful drinks expertly curated by drink mixologists Domenic Pirrottina and Michael Salvestro to the perennial favourite pizza organised by Denis Flores, Roko Qalo and Maninder Singh to finally the sweet loaded Doughnuts developed by Eliza Peruzzi, Maria Sergi and Isabella Sleiman.

All three stalls met with great success with the Pizza and Doughnut stalls selling out very quickly. The students also had to contend with the additional complications of COVID safety through the wearing of masks and gloves and maintaining of social distancing for both themselves and their customers. After costs, the stalls collectively made $114.00 which they have kindly decided to donate to the Bauit Family. A truly generous gesture from the hardworking students of Year 12 Work Studies.
