Year 11 Cake Challenge!

During Week 7 the Yr 11 Hospitality classes were put to the test to design and create a three tiered cake within two practical lessons.The purpose of this challenge was for the students to use a range of preparation and decorative techniques to further develop and extend their culinary skill bases whilst heavily focusing on the importance of presentation of food items for service. 

The end result was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious! The students were able to demonstrate their creative sides as well as having a little fun.
