The Hardy Shield

Kildare completed the Hardy Shield defense recently being beaten by Kooringal High School 22 to 0. In earlier games we defeated Mater Dei 6 to 4, Mount Austin 32 to 0 and Wagga High 22 to 0 to be top of the competition. A win against Kooringal would mean back to back Hardy Shield Titles. The Kildare team could not get over the line and at 0 all at halftime it was going to be tough. Kooringal grabbed the early lead through better discipline and ball control and continued to pile on the pressure scoring four second half tries to be deserving winners.
