INTERNATIONAL STUDENT NEWS

Recently our VCE international students had some fun with sending a special message to our school community about the importance of ‘working together’ and ‘staying strong’. The visual messages were later produced into a touching video by our very own Felicia Peh.  There were lots of laughs during the making of the clip and all involved are thanked for having such as positive attitude.  The clip was also shown to our younger internationals students at our weekly well-being Year Level Meets.

Our Year 12 international students are working towards completing their final SACs (School Assessed Course Work) over the next weeks.   The upcoming study break will be a time to organise a structured study routine in order to complete practice tasks and revise notes in preparation for the end of year exams. This study break is a very important time for VCE students to continue their learning and extend their understanding of subject material and exam requirements.

Our international students have been reminded of the importance of staying organised at this very busy time of the term and to submit all Learning Tasks before the upcoming school break.  We ask that families please speak with their children about the work they are completing as these conversations can be really helpful in managing the workload. We hope that the 3 Way Conferences were beneficial to our families in terms of gaining a clear insight as to how your children are progressing and we encourage families to make contact with the International Support Team should you require any additional information.

The International Support Team wish you well and are looking forward to seeing all students when we return to school.

Well done international students and families – you are all doing an amazing job!

Take Care,

The International Support Team
