Music 

Congratulations to Millie Davidson (Viola), Brooke Hillam (Piano) and Milo Cooper (Cello) for receiving the Bronze Award in the Música Viva Nation Chamber Music Competition.  The trio recorded Movement 1 and 2 of Beethoven’s Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello in E Flat major.  This entry was then judged by esteemed Artistic Director Wilma Smith.  Wilma Smith is a master musician who has been Concert Master for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and performed regularly with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Harvard Chamber Orchestra.  Wilma plays a 1761 Guadagnini violin, which amongst violinists is a Lamborghini to Stradivarius’ Ferrari.

The Grand Final of the series will be livestreamed free online on Saturday 12 September 2020 at 2pm AEST.
