Sport

As we finish what has been another most strange and from a sporting point of view disappointing term, we look forward (again) to the return of sport in some sort of normal capacity to come back at some point in Term 4.

At the time of writing this there is no confirmed news of return dates for our local sporting competitions in basketball, cricket, tennis or rowing. There is hope however that training sessions for rowing and cricket can resume early next term while an internal tennis competition is likely to go ahead during the term and a new junior basketball season may commence later in the term. Please check emails towards the end of the holidays and when we return to school be up to date with any training and competition information. If you have any other questions, please ask the relevant Head of that sport.

In relation to ICCES and GD interschool sporting events, unfortunately all remaining events have been cancelled for 2020. House Sport Afternoons are still planned for the remainder of the year (if possible) and various House sports will be run then and during some lunchtimes in Term 4.

For you sports quiz lovers out there, attached to this edition of the newsletter there is another “THAC Isolation RLP 2.0 Sporting Quiz” to have a go at – without googling them! Email me your answers at lalexander@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au – first in and most correct by the end of term wins a prize.
