From the Principal

We all deserve some good news!  Last weekend, Premier Andrews provided a ‘road map’ towards our return to school; SA Health approved our south east South Australian boarders returning next term and the VCAA have found VCE examination centres for all our international students.  Wonderful news indeed!

Provisional dates for next term are:

Sunday 4 October – The boarding houses will reopen for Years 11 & 12 students.

Monday 5 October – ELC remains open but Prep – Year 12 will continue remote learning for the first week of Term 4. Some essential assessments will be set for Year 11 & 12 onsite.

Sunday 11 October – The boarding houses open to all remaining students Years 7-10.

Monday 12 October – All students Prep-Year 12 return for face to face teaching onsite.

Over this term, time and time again, I was reminded that ‘trust’ remains a critical commodity in schools.  Trust reflects the degree of character, reliability, competence, warmth and stewardship in our relationships.   Our community is so blessed to share trust in abundance.  As the greater the trust, the better the outcomes for all students.
