Cross Country

This term we have had students compete in both division and Southern Metro cross country. We took 25 students to Karkarook Reserve for division where students ran 3km around the lake to try and qualify for Southern Metro. All teams represented the college competitively and in a fun positive manner. 13 of these students were successful in qualifying. Some outstanding performances included the under 13 girl team coming second, under 14 boys team winning and a second place for both Baden Mooney and Isabella Martignon-Williamson. Southern Metro finals were held this week on a true cross country course at Cruden farm, where students tackled hills, cow paddocks and the cold to compete in a fantastic manner. Congratulations to Baden Mooney who has progressed to the state finals with a 5th place, and all other students for their outstanding effort.
