Beginning of Year School Mass and School Captains 2020

 

On Friday, St Joseph's students in Years 3-6 celebrated the beginning of the school year at a Parish Mass. The celebration was vibrant as all gathered with Fr Patrick.

 

At the end of Mass, the Year 6 captains were inducted and received their badges. Special thanks to all of our Year 6 students for the leadership they have shown in just a few short weeks as the senior class.

Ash Wednesday  - 26 February

Ash Wednesday marks the start of Season of Lent: A time of preparing for Easter through prayer and compassionate action.

Yrs 1, 2 and 3 will be attending 9:30am Mass to receive ashes.

Yrs 4, 5 and 6 will attend 12:00 midday Mass.

Kindergarten will visit the Church and participate in a short prayer at 11:30am. Parents are most welcome to join the students and parishioners at these mass times.

Lent and Easter 2020

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on 26 February. A school Mass will be celebrated with Years 3-6 followed by a liturgy with Kindergarten to Year 2. More information will be provided next week and parents are very welcome to join us.
