P & F Annual General Meeting - Tonight at 7:30 pm

All parents and friends are very welcome to attend the first P&F meeting for the year. This is also a wonderful opportunity for Kindergarten parents to meet other parents and engage in the life of the school.

Please see the P&F page of this newsletter  for details.

Kindergarten's First School Assembly

Each Monday afternoon, the school community gathers for prayer and assembly at 2:00 pm in the school hall. Next week, Week 5, Kindergarten students will attend their first school assembly for prayer and Kinder merit awards and then return to class.  Kinder parents are welcome to stay for the entire assembly.

Assembly is held in the school hall and parents are always very welcome to attend. Parent entry is via the Park Road door of the hall.

Kindergarten Parent 2020 Welcome Night

Kindergarten parents are invited to a special night on Thursday 19 March from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Please join us for this opportunity to socialise and connect with other Kindergarten parents, our P&F parents and school staff.  A flyer will soon be sent out. (Parents only, no children)

Thank You!

Thank you to all parents and carers for your high expectations and regard for the school uniform. Your efforts to present your children for school in the correct uniform are very much appreciated.

Which Shoes Can My Child Wear To School?

To keep up our high standards for uniforms please keep in mind that students are required to wear black leather polishable school shoes.  Shoes should be cleaned and polished.  Vivobarefoot school shoes are also acceptable for those wanting to encourage natural growth, development, and movement through minimalist footwear. (Not boot style) Canvas ‘Raben’ type shoes are not appropriate for school wear.

On sports days children should have predominantly white sports shoes with white laces and white socks above the ankle.

Are You Interested in OOSH Vacation Care?

CatholicCare would like to consider operating a CatholicCare vacation care OOSH program within the Illawarra (possible at one or two sites in the April holidays) as they have had a number of families who have expressed interest in accessing a CatholicCare vacation care program.

In order to gather interest, CatholicCare would like parents to complete a survey in anticipation of April School Holidays 2020.

The CatholicCare vacation care survey link can be found here .

CatholicCare ask that the survey be completed by 24 February.
