Cross Country training up and running!
Students have been participating in soccer, footy and netball clinics in preparation for the Lightning Premiership on Friday 1st June at Mary MacKillop College, Leongatha. They have had the opportunity to select which team they would like to participate in to represent the Karmai Cluster and teams will be finalised next week. In addition to this preparation, an additional training session has been organised for Tuesday 29th May which will enable students to practice with their respective Karmai team alongside the Poowong and Nyora students.
Cross country practice is also underway. At the start of each lesson, students have been working on their personal best laps of the oval. Each week they are encouraged to meet or beat their personal best. There has also been a consistent turnout at the early morning cross country training on Mondays and Thursdays. Students are always eager to train despite the weather. Selection for the Loch Cross Country Team will be finalised shortly and the team will compete at the Division Cross Country on Thursday 7th June at Stony Creek Racecourse.
