Senior School

In the senior school we have been working hard on the new Chromebooks researching our inquiry projects. 

This term we have looked at how volcanoes can be both creators and destroyers. This has lead to many in depth discussions and some wonderful projects being presented to the class. 

Some of the most fascinating things we discovered are: 

• "Ash clouds are formed by millions of tiny acidic bubbles popping"- Harry
• "Yellowstone Caldera had rings of colour around the outside caused by bacteria"- Scarlett
• "The movement of tectonic plates cause eruptions" - Luca
• "If a volcano is formed outside the ring of fire it is considered a hotspot"- Myrto
