Skoolbag
The LNPS Skoolbag has had another 30 downloads since last last week. We now have 260 members in our Skoolbag community.
Skoolbag Tip
Did you know that you can use Skoolbag to inform the school if your child is absent or if you need to change your contact details. Just go into the eForms and select the form you need and fill in the details. Once you submit an email will be sent to the school for processing.
We encourage all community members to download the app to ensure they recieve the lastest communication from the school.

Sports Day
Sports Day is being held this Friday at LNPS. We hope to see as many community members as possible at this wonderful school event.
Catering includes BBQ, Cake Stall and a variety of items from the Gym Canteen. All funds raised will be used in the upgrade of the Mellor Garden and Fisher outdoor area.
Please be aware that parking will be at a premium on the day so we encourage community members to walk if possible.
Material & Services Fees 2016
Please be reminded that M & S fees $365.00 is legally recoverable as a result from the polling that took place at the end of last year.
Payment are due by 31 March 2016.
If you require a school card form please collect from the front office. A school card form must be completed every year for approval.
NAPLAN 2016
The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is an annual assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. NAPLAN tests the sorts of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life, such as reading, writing, spelling and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken nationwide, every year, in the second full week in May.
NAPLAN is made up of tests in the four areas (or ‘domains’) of:
- reading
- writing
- language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
- numeracy

Please remember NAPLAN testing is only a snapshot of your child’s learning. It is one day in the year where your child is asked to sit through a standardized test. LNPS teachers assess your child’s learning on a daily basis through interactions, discussions and personalized learning experiences.
