2022 RU OK? Thursday 8th September

Our Student Representative Council is asking everyone to add something yellow to their school uniform on Thursday 8th September.

RU OK? Day 2022 is coming Thursday 8th September and as this year’s slogan says, there are “No Qualifications Needed!’ to get involved and to ask R U OK? New Research has found that four in ten Australians feel that asking someone ‘are you OK?’ is a conversation better had with an expert - but R U OK? Wants to remind young people and all Australians that they already have what it takes to support their family, friends and colleagues.

RU OK? CEO Katherine Newton tells us, “The work of health professionals is vital, and their value cannot be underestimated, however by having regular, meaningful conversations, we can help the people we care about feel supported before they are in crisis and, if that conversation does get too big for us, we can guide them to seek professional help.”
