Year 10 News

Projects are a part of our Year 10 curriculum. They are designed to help us work effectively in teams, develop leadership skills and to handle challenging situations constructively. In addition, we are building social capabilities. Our project team has recognised a need to support local charities, in particular our local homeless community. Lifegate, in Frankston was kind enough to accept our offer to deliver prepared meals and deserts on Friday the 9th of September. We worked all day to prepare spaghetti bolognese, brownies and peach cobblers. The meals were delivered to Lauren on Friday and distributed to people with housing insecurity. We gained satisfaction knowing we were able to give back to our local community, we feel we have gained empathy for those who are unable to feed themselves unlike us.
