French Update

Madam Emily

In Prep, we have been learning about our body parts to sing along with the French version of 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'. Check out Mackenzie's fantastic drawing of herself. Can you translate the French labels?

Our Year 1 students have been creating shape monsters to learn colour and shape names in French. We love their creative designs!

Year 2 have been visiting the doctors to discuss their health problems. We hope Doctor Jack and Doctor Sunny can help out their patients.

Check out Bella's dream house design and Elka's script. We have been learning how to write sentences to give tours around our dream houses in French.

Eliza and Viv are following directions to find the x on their treasure map. Whilst Caiden followed directions from Oscar around a maze made up of other Year 4 students. Because of Oscar's clear directions, Caiden made it successfully to the end without bumping into anyone. Bravo Oscar!

India from Year 5 researched French speaking countries to create this detailed map. Can you translate the modes of transport she has used to get to each destination? Clue: Transport names often start with the same letter in English and French.

Year 6 have been learning about formal and informal language in French to create restaurant role plays. Can you work out who is the waiter or waitress in each photo?

Merci beaucoup pour votre bon travail tout le monde! (Thank you very much for your great work everyone!)
