Primary Diocesan Athletics Carnival
On Friday 12 August, our St Philomena's Athletics Team travelled to Tamworth to compete at the Armidale Diocesan Athletics Carnival.
Our students competed against some tough athletes from around the Diocese. Everyone did a fantastic job both showing of their skills and sportsmanship in the track and field events. It was definitely a fast track on the day with most of our students running personal bests! Well done to all of our athletes, we're all so proud of how well St Philomena's performed and supported each other on the day!

Cricket NSW Visits St Philomena's
On Monday we were lucky enough to have Cricket NSW visit St Philomena's to run a series on fun cricket drills with students in Years 3 - 6. Stella Campbell (Sydney Sixers) and Lachie Shaw (NSW U19's), both representatives for cricket in NSW, ran a Q&A session followed by autograph signing with the students. Everyone had a lot of fun!
