Message from the Principal

Achieving Excellence Together

Dear Parents,

This coming Monday we will be hosting our annual Book Week Parade. Students, families and staff are encouraged to come to school on Monday dressed up as their favorite book character. Each student who dresses up will receive a raffle ticket which puts them in the draw to win a prize at our parade at the end of the day. Our High 5 Book Faire will also be open to students at recess and lunchtime next week giving them the opportunity to redeem the latest and greatest book titles using their High 5 cards. No cash will be accepted. Thank you to the staff team working behind the scenes to prepare for this wonderful celebration.

In this week's Newsletter we have news stories about student learning in STEM, an incursion from 'Wheel Talk' to support our 3/4 unit of inquiry 'In Their Shoes', and an update from our Young Leaders - School Gardening Team. It is amazing that these enriching experiences happen every day at school and brings the valuable learning that students do in Literacy and Numeracy to real life.

Parent Opinion Survey

Each year, our school participates in the DET Parent Opinion Survey. 80, randomly selected parents to receive a link to complete a school survey to share their perspectives on student learning and our school community. Thank you to the families for taking the time to share your thoughts. This information is highly valuable as we monitor our progress toward our school goals. If you have not received a survey link but would like to provide us feedback please forward it directly to our school email or see us at the front office.

Prep Enrolment 2023

This week we have begun contacting families to confirm enrolments for Prep students in 2023. There are still limited spots available for those interested in joining us next year. We encourage all interested families to get in contact with us about enrolment as soon as possible to confirm their place.
