Year 12 students were feeling quite relaxed on Tuesday, coming to school in their PJ’s and comfort clothing for another Social Committee fundraiser event. The day assisted our students to take a breather from the pressure of piling SAC’s, deadlines and assessment tasks and to relax with their peers in the Senior Centre, during lunch hour. An action movie was shown on the big screen, while students ‘chilled’ with their mates on beanbags and with popcorn, chips and chocolate. Check out some of the comments from students below.

Senior students have recently been asked to give some thought and make suggestions for a venue for their final timetabled school day of celebrations, later this year. We are hoping to secure a venue asap.

It was a delight coming to school on Tuesday in my PJ's. Any day you can come to school in Pyjamas is a good day. This day gave us year 12 students a day just to be able to relax and reflect on the positives about the year.

Maddy Darmawan and I really enjoyed PJ Day because it was a really fun way for us to come to school looking cute and comfortable! It was so nice being cozy and warm all day, and it was a fun day to have during this busy time for us Year 12s.

I have a very happy life in Wantirna college. All the teachers are nice to answer my questions and the students are happy to help each other. I have many free periods in this year. I always use these time to do my homework and review.
