Hydrotherapy

This term some students in the Special Education Centre have been able to do Hydrotherapy during Tuesday afternoon sport. Our students in wheelchairs appreciated being able to access the pool, using the new hydraulic lift at Gosford Pool. Central Coast Council has also been busy doing upgrades to the disabled change rooms, which has been a welcome improvement to facilities. Our students all thoroughly enjoyed being in the water especially during some of the extreme heat days. Most increased their confidence in the water and many improved their swimming strokes and water safety.

I wish to thank Mr David Secomb who assisted with our transport and volunteered to support our sport activities all year.
