Senior Years and Wellbeing

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back, I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday period.

Summer Uniform

We are so fortunate at this College that most students wear their uniform with pride. Sadly, however, it only takes a handful of students to do the wrong thing that then reflects poorly on everyone. Could I ask all families to support the College in maintaining the high uniform standards we have come to expect from all students. Girls will be reminded of the following:

  • The summer dress must sit no higher than mid-knee with the school jumper on. A number of girls have been asked to attend to this during the week.
  • One pair of plain studs or sleepers only in the ear lobe.
  • Make up or nail polish is not to be worn to school apart from colourless moisturiser or colourless sunscreen.
  • No jewellery is permitted.
  • Hair that is below shoulder length must be tied back.
  • School ribbons must be navy, white, maroon or gold.
  • Hats must be worn in Term Four.

A new summer shirt has been introduced for boys. All boys must be in the new shirt by Term One 2020.

This shirt is designed to wear with or without the school tie and can be worn with the school jumper.

If boys choose to come to school wearing their tie then their blazer must be worn to and from school. They can of course remove the blazer when they are in classes. If students are wearing their jumper over the new shirt then the shirt must be tucked in.

Hats must be worn this term to and from school and at recess and lunchtimes.

A reminder to all boys that long pants and a blazer and tie will be the required uniform for Speech Day on Friday 25th October. Girls will be required to have a blazer with their summer dress.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding our school uniform, then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Summer Uniform Change Over

Students may begin Term Four in either their summer or winter uniform. By Monday 21st October all students must be wearing the summer uniform. Hats are compulsory in Term 4.

Boys will be required to wear long trousers and a shirt and tie for Speech Day on Friday 25th October.
