Principal's Report

Welcome back with the exciting news that we have commenced our final term with 523 students, our highest student enrolment ever!  I am delighted to welcome Miss Georgia Williams and Miss Isobel Gibbs to the College as Gapper students.  Similarly, it is with great pleasure and confidence that I announce Mrs Susan Bradbeer as our new Deputy Principal: Teaching and Learning in 2020.  Susan is our current Head of English and her passion for education has impressed not only the English staff but all staff fortunate to work with her. Susan has over twenty years’ experience in education since she first commenced her undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne.  In addition to the last four years at College, she has taught at schools like Fintona, MLC Kew and Monivae.  Susan has a deep interest in research and was a project officer for the Victorian Association of Teachers of English.  She is currently studying a Doctorate of Philosophy at Monash University. We wish her every success in this critically important role in the College.

I remind all families that jumpers may be worn as outside garments with the summer school uniform, if boys and girls are wearing open neck shirts or the summer dress.  Should a student decide to wear a tie, they must wear the blazer.  Similarly, no blazers are to be worn with open neck shirts. Please note that only Year 12 will be permitted to wear the large crested boys’ summer shirts in 2020.
