Last Day of School - Thursday 8 December

Speech Day – 8 December 2022

The Senior School Speech Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to celebrate our students’ achievements. It is our final School event for the year, and as such it is a compulsory event for all Senior School students who must attend in immaculate full school uniform, including blazer.

Students are to arrive at school on or before 8:45am and will meet in House areas for roll marking and further information. Students will require a bag to clear out their lockers. Normal drop-off zones will be in operation before 8:45am.

All parents and close family are invited to attend our final whole-school formal occasion for 2022 which will begin at 10am sharp. Please be punctual.

To avoid traffic congestion there will be no parking on the Wolaroi site until the ceremony is over and guests have departed at 12:30pm. Arrangements have been made to shuttle guests from the Orange Function Centre to the Derek Pigot Auditorium between 9am and 9:50am and return guests to their vehicles at the conclusion of the ceremony.

At the conclusion of the ceremony students will be dismissed back to House areas to collect belongings before being dismissed at 12:30pm. Please ensure you have planned how your child will get home from school as there will be no supervision provided on campus during the afternoon.

Kinross Wolaroi School bus runs will operate at the conclusion of the ceremony and will depart at 12:30pm.

Access to the Wolaroi site will be restricted from 9am – 12:30pm. Parents and carers are requested not to arrive before 12:30pm to pick up students.

To allow efficient traffic flow, you are requested to collect students from the following locations based on House groups between 12:30pm – 1:00pm.
