Thank you to all our wonderful students and families for coming along to celebrate the achievements for 2023. We were delighted to have our ensembles perform for us and to celebrate the accomplishments of those students who took AMEB exams throughout the year. Many thanks to our musicians for their hard work, parents for their ongoing support of our program and our talented tutors and directors for nurturing and fostering excellence in music.
Congratulations to all our participants that took part in our Year 4 band program this semester. We were delighted with how far the students have come in such a short time. Thank you to our tutors, Mrs Emma Knott, Mr Chris Perrin and Mrs Victoria Chatterley for their expert tuition. We are very excited that some of these students will now continue to pursue learning individually. Here are some of the photos and performances from the concert which was attended by some very proud parents!
All current students taking lessons are required to re-enrol every year. We strongly encourage students to re-enrol before the end of Term 4 as this will ensure that places are secured for 2023.
Re-enrolments are now open and can be accessed online via this link: https://forms.office.com/r/9FTznRGaqV
Once received, tutors will be given your contact information and will be in touch in week one of the 2023 school year.
Please do not hesitate to contact Katherine Howarth (kahowarth@kws.nsw.edu.au) if you have any issues or questions relating to enrolments.
The Speech and Drama exams were held on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 November and the results were very good. There were encouraging remarks commenting on the presentation, facial and vocal expression, the use of the stage and props, and the talent of the candidates.
